Problem Statement
Users often struggled with finding event information quickly, leading to frustration and lower event participation. An intuitive, visually engaging solution was needed to allow users to access event details and bookings effortlessly, driving community involvement.

Design Process
Initial Explorations
Initial explorations involved user research to understand frustrations and needs, creating personas to guide design choices. I then conducted a competitive analysis to identify opportunities for a visually appealing yet simple solution. Sketches and low-fidelity wireframes focused on clear navigation and an intuitive layout, ensuring both visual appeal and ease of use.​​​​​​​
Iterations & Feedback
Iterations aimed to enhance navigation and visual clarity, guided by user feedback, leading to adjustments in button placements and visual hierarchy. After consideration with users, there was confusion about distinguishing buttons from headings, prompting a redesign with clearer visual cues. User research results recommended increasing contrast with bolder colours for key elements to improve accessibility and readability, resulting in a clearer and more intuitive interface that aligned with user expectations.

A visually engaging homepage with clear categories, allowing users to easily browse upcoming events. Easily share with friends and save for later.
Booking System
Streamlined booking process with high-contrast buttons and clear CTAs to guide users through ticket purchases. Users earn points for each booking, redeemable for rewards, encouraging more frequent event attendance.

The app was projected to increase event attendance by 30% due to the simplified booking process and personalised recommendations. Hypothetically, a 25% reduction in time spent navigating to event details would improve user satisfaction. Additionally, clearer visual hierarchy and accessibility could lead to a 20% decrease in drop-off rates during the booking process.
